Yesterday a former Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Vahan Shirkhanyan, was detained on criminal case

According to the National Security Service (NSS) of the Republic, he is suspected of involvement in the generated Arthur Vartanian criminal community, where he played a particular role and had specific instructions.

According to the relevant article of the Criminal Code of Armenia, Shirkhanyan can be punished by imprisonment for a term of 6 to 10 years with confiscation of property or without it,  Tass reports.
