Narimanov District Court of Baku decided to take the former head of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Jahangir Hajiyev, into custody.
Former banker will have to spend the next three months under arrest.
He was taken into custody on charges of fraud and embezzlement in large quantities, TASS reports.
