Baku is hosting the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix today.
Twenty drivers from ten teams will compete for victory, including renowned racers such as Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc.
Today’s schedule includes free practice and qualifying sessions for both Formula 1 and Formula 2. On Saturday, Formula 1 free practice and the Formula 2 sprint race will take place, followed by the main Grand Prix race on Sunday to determine the winner.
The Baku circuit is one of the longest in the world, stretching six kilometers and featuring twenty turns. It passes through Baku's historic Old City, where the track narrows to just 7.6 meters at its tightest point. At its widest point, it's 13 meters.
