Foundation laying ceremony for new village held in Jabrayil district

A solemn ceremony of laying the foundation of Soltanli village was held in Azerbaijan's Jabrayil district in Karabakh on November 24.

The ceremony was attended by special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts of East Zangezur economic region Vahid Hajiyev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture Anar Guliyev, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjártó, as well as the residents of the village.

The village is located close to Ahmadbayli-Horadiz-Minjivan-Aghband strategic highway.

Within the framework of providing employment to the population, the master plan envisages the construction of various enterprises, workshops, farms and warehouses in order to create new jobs and develop the village economy.

In accordance with the rehabilitation plan it is planned to develop residential areas on the territory of the village on the area of 398.82 ha, where 1,525 families or 6100 people are expected to live.

The project envisages the construction of 496 private houses and 4 and 5-story buildings for 1,044 apartments.
