Officers of the Investigation Service of the Georgian Ministry of Finance have arrested four employees of Kobuleti municipality in connection with four cases of bribe-taking, InterPressNews reports.
"The investigation revealed that the suspects, who were in charge of supervising infrastructural projects in the Kobuleti municipality, requested money from the representatives of a company implementing the project, in exchange for ignoring violations,"- reads the statement of the Investigation Service.
The detainees face prison term from 6 to 9 years if convicted.
