The Joint Coordination Center has approved the departure on Friday of four vessels carrying corn, barley and rapeseed from Ukrainian ports under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the United Nations said.

"The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) authorized today the movement of four outbound vessels carrying a total of 58,800 metric tonnes of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the UN said.

According to the UN report, they are the Super Bayern (33,000 tonnes of corn) and the A-Line (10,700 tonnes of corn), both bound for Egypt. The Lucky vessel will head to Greece with 6,000 tonnes of corn and 4,400 tonnes of barley on board, and the Sevil will deliver 4,700 tonnes of rapeseed to Romania.

There is also the Kiran America vessel, with 50,000 tonnes of barley and corn aboard, which earlier rescheduled its departure from the Chornomorsk port and is now expected to set off to China on Friday.

As of 8 September, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 2,376,291 metric tonnes. A total of 227 voyages (122 inbound and 105 outbound) have been enabled so far," the UN said.
