The data refuting the desire of the EU to get rid of a gas dependence on Russia were announced today by the Chairman of the Board of PJSC Gazprom, Alexey Miller, who spoke about the statistics of the growth of the purchases of Russian gas by the European countries.
‘’A stable growth of demand for Russian gas in January-April 2016 was demonstrated by our traditional customers in Germany (+ 19% compared to the same period in 2015), Italy (+ 8.7%), France (+ 43%) and Austria ( + 23%),’’ Interfax quotes him as saying.
