France is to adopt a law which will allow professional citizens of Georgia to work there legally, Georgia Today reported.
The information was released by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani.
The Minister said after the agreement comes into force, young specialists of Georgia, including those who received higher education in France, will be able to obtain a temporary residence permit in France for legal employment.
“We have signed an agreement with France that has been ratified by the French Parliament. Yesterday, the French President signed this agreement, which will be presented as a law allowing the citizens of Georgia to work legally in France. This is a very important achievement,” he said.
Zalkaliani stated he would provide more information and details shortly. He added that the Georgian side is working on this issue with a number of other countries.
