Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has awarded the famous American political scientist and philosopher Francis Fukuyama with the Order of Honor.
Fukuyama has received the award for the creation of effective public administration and democratic development, the Georgian presidential administration statement says.
The ceremony was held in Tbilisi in the framework of the 'Leaders Forum', organized by the Center for Economic Development and the Center for Issues of Democracy, Development and Supremacy of Law at Stanford University, which is currently headed by Fukuyama, Sputnik Georgia notes.
