Francois Fillon: sanctions against Russia should be lifted urgently

France's former Prime Minister Francois Fillon spoke today about the urgent need to cancel the erroneous sanctions against Russia.

"The economic sanctions against Russia should be cancelled as soon as possible. It was a stupid step. The sanctions haven't had the slightest impact on Russia in the sphere of international politics, they have only worsened relations with it. Moreover, these sanctions bring both the French and all European farmers to ruin, because it is a unified economic system,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
