In Georgia, the opposition party of former the Defense Minister Irakli Alasania, the Free Democrats, has denied information spread by Georgian media about joining the United National Movement.
‘‘A task-oriented campaign against the Free Democrats is being conducted. The State Security Service is putting pressure on members of the party. It is obvious in regard to members of regional organizations,’’ Georgia Online cites Irakli Alasania.
