The Free Syrian Army "offered Russia to hold talks in Cairo on cooperation in resolving the conflict in Syria," the co-founder and coordinator of the Syrian 'Group of National Salvation' Fahd al-Masri reported.
"As I have already said, after the meeting with Mr. Bogdanov in Paris, the 'Free Syrian Army' is ready for a dialogue with Russia. We need to arrange a new meeting so that we can present our position and discuss our joint actions," gazeta.ruquoted him as saying.
According to al-Masri, "a common decision on what kind of assistance Russia may provide to the 'Free Syrian Army' can be made during the negotiations."
