The head of the Republic of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, awarded the men’s freestyle wrestling 86kg category gold medalist, Dagestan’s Abdulrashid Sadulaev, with an Akhal-Teke horse and certificate for 6 million rubles. Abdulatipov also awarded him the Order 'For Services to the Republic of Dagestan'.
The same certificate was presented to the coach of Abdulrashid Sadulaev, Shamil Omarov, who was awarded the honorary title of 'Honored coach of the Republic of Dagestan'.
