French Senate adopts resolution calling for sanctions against Azerbaijan

On the evening of November 15, the French Senate almost unanimously adopted a resolution calling on the French government and other EU countries to impose sanctions against Baku.

295 deputies voted in favor, 1 voted against.

In particular, the document calls on the government and the EU to confiscate the property of Azerbaijani leaders and impose a ban on the import of Azerbaijani oil and gas.
