The G-7 countries have recognized the importance of dialogue with Russia to search for solutions to major international crises, Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano said.
At the same time, he stressed that this should not be interpreted as "reducing pressure on Russia in terms of its responsibility for the Ukrainian crisis," which, according to the diplomat, forced the G7 countries to introduce restrictive measures in different formats.
