The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has condemned the attack on the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and consulates in Mashhad, describing these events as acts of terrorism, the Secretary General of the Organization Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani stated.
"The countries of the Cooperation Council, while forming a united front with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, condemn these terrorist attacks against the Saudi diplomatic mission in Iran and place full responsibility for what happened on the Iranian authorities," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
He noted that the GCC members entirely approve the decisions taken by Saudi Arabia to fight terrorism.
