Former Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia established his own For Georgia party, the media informs.
About 400 people attended the presentation of the party. The congress participants unanimously elected Gakharia as the party chairman.
"Today we are uniting for Georgia, not against someone. Today our team is starting to work for Georgia, but I repeat not against someone. We are uniting for Georgia in order to build a strong state together with our citizens," the head of the new Georgia party said, Sputnik Georgia informs.
Gakharia explained that a state should take care of its citizens and the country, which requires consistent development planning.
