Garibashvili leaves 'Georgian Dream'

Former Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, leaves 'Georgian Dream' party, one of the leaders of the parliamentary majority Zviad Kvachantiradze informed after yesterday's meeting of its political council.

"Secretariat granted the request of Giorgi Kvirikashvili on joining the party, and he was invited to the meeting of political council. It is implied that he is party's chairman. As for Irakli Garibashvili, we once again held communication with him, and he reaffirmed his decision to stop political activity and leave the post of chairman of the party," - Trend quoted him as saying.
