Gazprom resumed gas supplies to Turkey via the Blue Stream gas pipeline after the completion of scheduled repair works, Gazprom announced on Monday.
"The variety of scheduled repair works at the facilities of the Blue Stream gas pipeline has been completed. Gas supplies have been resumed today," the company said.
Repair works on the gas pipeline were held on May 17-30.
Blue Stream was put into operation in early 2003 and has a design capacity of 16 bln cubic meters of gas per year, its total length is 1,213 km. In 2021, record-breaking 16 bln cubic meters of gas was delivered to Turkey through the gas pipeline.
