Taekwondo fighters Albert Gaun (Russia), Milad Beigi Harchegani (Azerbaijan) and Arman Yeremyan (Armenia) reached the quarterfinals of the competition in the weight category of 80 kilograms as part of the First European Games in Baku.
In the qualifying round, Albert Gaun defeated Richard Ordemann (Norway) with a score of 12:5, Milad Beigi Harchegani defeated Damir Fejzic (Serbia) with a score of 12:0, and Arman Yeremyan defeated Yunus Sari (Turkey) with the score of 4:0.
As a result, Albert Gaun and Arman Yeremyan will compete in the category up to 80 kg for the right to become the winner of the First European Games, and Milad Beigi Harchegani will meet Lutalo Muhammad (UK).
