Gazprom Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Vitaly Markelov and head of Iran's national oil corporation (NIOC) Mohsen Khojasteh-Mehr have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the companies, Iranian news agency Shana reported.
The projects are estimated at $40 billion, and they include developing the Kish and North Pars gas fields, pressurizing the South Pars field, developing six oil fields, completing LNG projects and gas and refined products swaps, constructing gas export pipelines, and engaging in other scientific and technical cooperation.
