Georgia and Hungary discuss cooperation


A meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze and his Hungarian counterpart Peter Siyarto took place in Hungary, where the parties agreed that Hungary would open a credit line for Georgia amounting to $68 million.

In addition, special attention was paid to the development of trade and economic cooperation between the states. The ministers expressed their readiness to sign agreements in the near future between Georgia and Hungary on protection of investments. One such important directions of cooperation was the education sector. Mikhail Janelidze thanked the Hungarian government for financing the project of Georgian students who study at Hungarian universities, Georgia Online reports.
