Today, a meeting was held between the chairman of the Georgian parliament, David Usupashvili, and Saudi Prince al-Walid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at which the sides agreed to deepen and intensify cooperation between the two countries.
"The parties discussed current political processes in the region, and the prospects for Georgia on the way to Europe. They discussed areas in which Saudi Arabia and Georgia can work together," a member of the Georgian delegation, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations Tedo Japaridze stated.
The official visit of the parliamentary delegation to Saudi Arabia ends today, Sputnik Georgia reports.
