Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili met with the US Executive branch officials on security and NATO officials during his visit to Washington.
The sides discussed issues of deepening political, military and trade relations.
"At the meeting it was noted that Georgia has been and remains a reliable partner for the Western world in the fight against global threats. It is important to strengthen the strategic partnership between Georgia and the US to bring more benefits to our countries," Sputnik Georgia cited the press service of the head of state as saying.
Recall, Margvelashvili arrived in the US to attend the Nuclear Security Summit.
