Georgia begins to sell more food products to America

In the past seven months of 2015, Georgia exported 21% more agri-food products to the United States in comparison with the same period last year. Georgian Ministry of Agriculture stated.

The US buys Georgian fruit and vegetable juices, mineral and melt water, natural grape wines, alcohol, etc. During these seven months, Georgia sold agri-food products worth up to 3.5 million dollars to America, while last year during the same period it was about 2.9 million dollars. Compared to the year 2013, growth amounted to 42.7% (2.4 million dollars), and to 2012 - 96.4% (1.8 million dollars), Georgia Online writes.
