Georgia cancels visa regime with Saint Kitts and Nevis

Georgia and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis signed an agreement of the introduction of a visa free travel regime, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

The agreement was signed by Ambassador of Georgia to the UN Kakha Imnadze and Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the UN Sam Terrence Condor.

The visa-free regime will be enjoyed by both citizens of Georgia and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. 

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, in 2018, 92 citizens of the state of Saint Kitts and Nevis visited Georgia, and in January-June 2019 - 35 citizens.

The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is a state in the eastern part of the Caribbean Sea, consisting of two islands - Saint Kitts and Nevis, belonging to the Lesser Antilles. Its population is about 55,000 people. Until 2014, the citizens of the Federation enjoyed a visa-free regime with Georgia.
