Georgia confirms death of Tarkhan Batirashvili

Deputy head of the Akhmet district administration Mate Kavtarashvili confirmed the death of Tarkhan Batirashvili, also known as Abu Omar al-Shishani, one of the leaders of Daesh.

Previously, information about the death of Georgian native in battles near the city of Shikrat in Iran was reported by the media, referring to terrorists news agency Amaq.
