Nine majority MPs will be elected on May 22 in the mid-term election to Georgia's municipal assemblies (sakrebulo), Georgia Online reported.
Georgia's Central Election Commission has said that the election is being held at 45 polling stations in Gldani, Gardabani, Kaspi, Tskaltubo, Ozurgeti, Khobi and Zugdidi. A total of 23 candidates have been registered for participation in the election.
The voting process started at 08:00 and will last till 20:00 after which the counting of votes will begin, Trend reports.
