Georgia increases exports to Russia

In January-March of this year, the trade turnover between Georgia and Russia increased by 16.8% compared to the same period in 2021, exports from Georgia to Russia increased by 2.8%, according to the data of the Georgian National Statistics Service "Sakstat".

Since the beginning of the year, 26,400 tons of mineral and freshwater, 17,700 tons of ferroalloys, and over 9,000 tons of wine have been exported from Georgia to Russia. Exports of tobacco products grew the most - by 132% and ferroalloys - by almost 7%.

Imports of Russian flour to Georgia increased by a record 1096% in January-March 2022. The total weight of imported flour is 31,500 tons.
