The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Mgebrishvili, has met with the head of staff of the Navy Command of NATO, Rear Admiral Giorgio Lazio. The Georgian minister expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in the framework of the ‘Active Endeavour’ operation by the alliance in order to fight terrorism in the Mediterranean Sea.
Four NATO warships have recently been delivered to the port of Batumi in Ajaria, where they are to remain until February 15th, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
