Georgia poet Jansug Charkviani was hospitalized with a stroke to the clinical hospital of Tbilisi, according to Charkviani's relatives.
They said that the stroke was confirmed, but now the poet's health condition is stable.
Charkviani was born on September 30, 1931 in Tbilisi. He graduated from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 1953. 'Hymn to freedom', which was published in 1989, is one of his most famous works, Sputnik Georgia reported.
