The National Agency for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Georgia submitted to the pan-European Federation for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Europa Nostra a grant project for the conservation of the medieval fortress-village of Mutso in Khevsureti.
According to Sputnik-Georgia, an ancient village consisting of several dozen apartment buildings-towers at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, was restored in 2015-2018 and now needs conservation measures to further protect this monument of Georgia’s military history.
