Russian spending in Georgia accounted for over 16% of the country's total revenue in the first half of the year, exceeding $300 million, according to the National Bank of Georgia.

Spending by Russian citizens declined by 25% year‑on‑year.

Around 15% of these Russians are residents of Georgia, meaning they have lived in the country for more than a year or plan to stay longer.

Georgia set a tourism record in the first six months, attracting approximately 2.3 million visitors.
