As a result of the testing, 1,071 new cases of virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 336,840. As of May 21, the daily positive rate is 3.57%, for the last 14 days - 4.11%, and for 7 days - 4.18%. In the last 24 hours, 680 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of recoveries increased to 317,069. 33 new cases of coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 4,602 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 1,071 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 581 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 96, Imereti - 84, Kvemo Kartli - 55, Shida Kartli - 42, Guria - 16, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 100, Kakheti - 55, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 23, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 14, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 5.
