Georgia reports 228 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 228 new cases of coronavirus and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours.

The country has had 284,061 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 275,024 of the 284,061 patients have recovered, while 3,822 have died from the virus.

Currently 5,189 individuals remain infected with Covid-19. 1,876 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today.

9,211 tests have been conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 4,121 of the 9,211 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5,090 were PCR tests, Agenda.ge reported.
