According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 26,399 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 17,012 antigen tests and 9,387 PCR tests, InterPressNews reports.
As a result of the testing, 268 new cases of virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 274,989. As of March 13, the daily positive rate is 1.02%, for the last 14 days - 1.51%, and for 7 days - 1.46%.
In the last 24 hours, 233 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 268,237. In the last 24 hours, 5 new cases of coronavirus death were reported. A total of 3,648 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 268 new cases of infection detected in the country: 141 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 12, Imereti - 46, Kvemo Kartli - 13, Shida Kartli - 16, Guria - 11, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 7, Kakheti - 15, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 4, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 1, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 2.
