Georgia has reported 3,988 new cases of coronavirus, 3,722 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country has come down to 7.64% as of December 14 over the last 14 days.
Overall 40,964 remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.
A total of 53,255 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 37,264 of the 53,255 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 15,991 were PCR tests. 894,801 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.
A total of 840,985 of 894,801 patients have recovered, while 12,826 have died from the virus, Agenda.ge reported.
A total of 5,999 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,479 of the 5,999 patients are in critical condition. 323 of the 1,479 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
33,814 people are undergoing treatment at home. 36,926 individuals are in self-isolation.
Overall, 1,231,315 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,047,569 people have been fully vaccinated.
