Georgia reports 695 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia has reported 695 new cases of coronavirus, 797 recoveries and 16 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

37,842 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 23,931 of the 37,842 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 13,911 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 352,649 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.67% of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

337,820 of the 352,649 patients have recovered, while 5,012 have died from the virus.

Currently 9,791 individuals remain infected with Covid-19. 3,137 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 688 of the 3,137 patients are in critical condition. 188 of the 688 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 14, 144 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 5,257,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far, Agends.ge reported.
