Georgia has reported 865 new Covid-19 cases, 2,820 recoveries, and 26 deaths in the past 24 hours.
The positivity rate for the past seven days stands at 15.55%. Overall 42,564 remain infected with coronavirus in Georgia.
A total of 7,733 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 5,281 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2,452 were PCR tests. 1,629,930 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.
A total of 1,570,884 of 1,629,930 patients have recovered, while 16,456 have died from the virus.
A total of 2,045 are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. Currently, 580 people are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit. 40,519 people are undergoing treatment at home.
Overall, 1,352,317 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,249,541 people have been fully vaccinated amounting to 43.5 percent of the country’s adult population and 226,062 have received booster shots of the vaccine.
