We are cooperating with Ukraine's General Prosecutor's Office for extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili, but their constitution is an obstacle, as it does not allow extradition of the citizen of Ukraine, Georgia's Chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze told journalists, Interpress agency reports.
"We have twice requested extradition, but they refused. This request is sent to them. We are cooperating with our colleagues - the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine very actively, but their constitution is an obstacle, as it does not allow extradition of the citizen of Ukraine. But we're working on this issue," Irakli Shotadze he.
