Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri was publicly vaccinated against coronavirus with the Chinese-made vaccine Sinopharm today.
Employees of the ministry were also vaccinated.
"I was vaccinated with Chinese-made Sinopharm. I have taken this step because I want to call on everyone, first of all the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to get vaccinated, whether it is with Sinopharm or another vaccine," Georgia Today cited him as saying.
"Unfortunately, the situation worldwide is getting worse by the day, including in our country. Everyone with suitable health should get vaccinated," Gomelauri said.
