Georgia's textile companies ready to produce face masks

Georgian textile companies have expressed their readiness to start producing face masks to fill in for the deficit caused by fears of the coronavirus.

Adjara Textile said that "as a highly socially responsible company" it will donate an amount of face masks freely to Georgia and its citizens.

The company Movi also expressed its support in the process of producing face masks.

Pharmaceutical company Smart Pharma said it would give cheesecloth freely to the country to help it produce face masks, Agenda.ge reported.

As of now Georgia has 33 confirmed cases of Covid-19. In total 637 people are under quarantine in Georgia and 54 others remain in hospitals under the observation of doctors.
