The United Kingdom will create a so-called anti-corruption innovation hub with the participation of several other countries, including France, Mexico, Ghana, Georgia, Switzerland, Afghanistan, UAE, Indonesia and Norway, Sputnik reports.
Currently, London is hosting the global anti-corruption summit attended by high-ranking politicians from a number of countries.
"We will incubate an Anti-Corruption Innovation Hub to connect social innovators, technology experts and data scientists with law enforcement, business and civil society to collaborate on innovative approaches to anti-corruption," the government said in its national action plan for 2016-2018.
"Britain, France, the Netherlands, Nigeria and Afghanistan pledged to launch public registers of true company ownership while Australia, New Zealand, Jordan, Indonesia, Ireland and Georgia announced initial steps towards similar arrangements," the UK Prime Minister David Cameron said.
Georgia is represented by the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili at the summit.
