Georgia to present 2030 development strategy

The Georgian Government will officially unveil its 2030 development strategy for the country in the coming days after approving the document, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said while announcing the document involved focus on healthcare, education, strengthening of democracy and other areas.

The Government Administration cited Garibashvili as saying the long-term development strategy was based on the “common aspiration of the Georgian people to build a strong democratic state” and adding the document involved “strategy, vision and plans for every state agency”.

“This [document] [represents] our common task - social equality, quality healthcare, education, ecologically clean and healthy environment, strengthening of democracy, security and stability”, the PM said in comments.

Garibashvili also added the Government had the vision prepared last year, but was presenting it after refining the document and updating its data. The PM said the document would be made public “in a few days”.
