Georgia to protect personal and family secrets

The Speaker of the Georgian parliament, David Usupashvili, held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs behind closed doors on the issue of increasing the punishment for crimes related to the disclosure of personal or family secrets.

As the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration Eka Beselia explained before the meeting, the results of which were not disclosed, personal and family secrets should be protected more severely than at present, 'InterpressNews' writes.
