The vice-speaker of the Georgian parliament Gia Volsky said today that the Georgian Dream party will present Kakha Kaladze as mayoral candidate for the upcoming Tbilisi elections on July 1.
Volsky also added that a meeting of the political council of the party will be held before the official presentation of the candidate, Georgia Online reports.
The vice-speaker also confirmed that the candidature of Ilia Eloshvili is being considered for the post of Minister of Energy, which can be released with the departure of Kaladze.
