Gocha Jamarauli, representing the Georgian Dream coalition, has won early elections in the Gardabani region of Georgia, the Central Electoral Commission of the country said.
Jamarauli gained 70% of the votes, while Besik Kahabrishvili, who represents the United National Movement, has 29.85%. Turnout was 33% (nearly 24 thousand people out of 71 thousand), Sputnik Georgia reports.
Early elections were called after the former head of the district municipality died.
