A meeting between the European Union Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, Johannes Hahn, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mikheil Janelidze, took place in Brussels where the parties discussed of the visa liberalization regime for Georgian citizens.
Also, the sides positively assessed the implementation of the agreement on Georgia's association with the EU and welcomed the yesterday's decision by the European Council to complete the ratification of the treaty. In addition, Han and Dzhanelidze expressed hope that in the near future the EU will taka a decision on the introduction of visa-free regime for the citizens of Georgia, Sputnik Georgia reports.
