A historical manuscript preserved at the National Archives of Georgia joined a UNESCO list of global cultural heritage.
The earlier of the scraped texts in the National Archives manuscript date back to the 9th-10th century AD.
The decision to make the manuscript part of the UNESCO Memory of the World Register was made by the UNESCO Memory of the World International Advisory Committee in Paris in October.
The Georgian manuscript is among 78 collections and documents that were added to the registry in 2017.
