Metropolitan Bishop of Vani and Baghdati Anton (Bulukhia) tested positive for Covid-19, Georgian media reports.
The Bishop assessed his state of health as good.
“I was in the Patriarchate when I just had a runny nose. But I didn’t visit the Patriarch, so as not to put him in an awkward situation, and went to get tested,” the Rustavi 2 TV channel quotes the Metropolitan as saying.
All those in contact with him went to self-isolation, including the secretary-assistant of the Patriarch, Shoren Tetruashvili. She also made test for Covid-19, but there is no result yet.
